  • Favorite restaurant in Madrid by far. Nothing else can compete. Delicious, local, and authentic food with amazing service. We came here straight from the airport on a local friend’s recommendation and the owner (Gucho) welcomed us with outstanding food and an amazing experience. The restaurant is small with a lot of natural light and greenery nearby. Highly recommend getting a lot of dishes and sharing with the table.

  • This place is nothing short of a gem. Typically Spanish cuisine in high quality. The owner was very friendly and accommodating even though our Spanish was minimal. We had a great evening here with great dishes and delicious drinks. Highly recommended and you definitely need a reservation.

  • What a pleasant surprise! Everything was so delicious: Crispy broccoli, baby squid in their ink croquettes with wakame seaweed, cachopo, sirloin slices, cheese flan... Very innovative cuisine, very fresh products. Gucho is such a lovely chef, you can clearly see and feel his passion for food! We will definitely return there and highly recommend it to anyone, be it locals or tourists like ourselves who happen to find themselves in this not so touristic neighbourhood. Thank you, Gucho!

  • Great food and really friendly staff. One of the staff helped us by suggesting dishes and also allowed us to get some of the dishes at half size. Food was very tasty and the atmosphere was cozy. Only reasons this place is not getting 5 stars is that we felt a bit rushed. The first two dishes were served about 5 minutes after we ordered, and the next dishes were served maybe 15 minutes after. It felt as if they tried to serve our food as fast as possible - though at the same time it didn't feel like they wanted us out. Overall, very recommendable.

  • Delicious, authentic food and amazing service! The staff at La Cocina de Gucho were so kind to us when we visited — Javier took the time to explain each dish to us and made us feel right at home! Awesome atmosphere, couldn't recommend it more! Ese lugar es lo máximo! Alto nivel de experiencia gastronómica en Madrid y el mejor restaurante que he probado :)
